This restaurant, located right on the main road of the old market area of Maynaguri, is one of the area's oldest and most trusted places for food. The first time I ate here, it was already late afternoon. I was wondering if I could find rice anywhere at that hour, but I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh food being served here. And when the food was brought to the table, I was honestly stunned. The meal was served so beautifully and with such a wide variety of items that anyone would be amazed. Fried items, vegetables, lentils, papad, chutney, beguni (eggplant fritters)... so many items! And the quality of the food was really good. Later, I also tried their fish, meat, and local Boroli fish dishes — and I quite liked them too. The portion sizes are generous. However, I felt that the prices of the less common fish dishes were a bit on the higher side. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The staff are courteous and behave normally. Items like dal and vegetables are served repeatedly for free — I didn’t notice any stinginess. They also provide parcel service, and they pack the food with care. In addition to rice and roti, biryani and other dishes are also available. However, I would strongly recommend that anyone visiting Maynaguri, even just for a day like I did, should definitely have a rice meal experience here. I personally enjoyed it very much….
