If there could be a Michelin star thali this would be it. Aur Jalsa is a high end restaurant located within the stunning Rio. The food was probably the best thali Ive ever had. The flavors are home style with a touch of the Chefs perspective. The service is second to none. Just a phenomenal stop after a few nights of standard goan fare. We visited Aur Jalsa today for lunch, after it was recommended by family who visited last year, and had a lovely experience! The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and very authentic. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The food was delicious with lots of variety and endless top ups. Definitely a must-visit to try some traditional Rajasthani/Gujarati food in Goa!
