This place is situated a few hundred meters away from one of the most crowded place in Jaipur I.e. Gaurav tower. As soon as you enter the place you will understand why they named the place Jaipur talkies. The walls of the restaurant are decorated with different posters from old Indian classic movies. Even the music being played was complimenting the name of restaurant as only Bollywood doond were played. Chairs were made of bamboo and were very comfortable to sit on and was appealing to eye as well. Even the cutlery they served in was very nice. All in all the place earns good grades for its ambience. Coming to food I ordered an honey chilli potato and a mocha chino coffee and noticed the prices were quite nominal. Staff served us the food without much delay. Unfortunately the honey chilli potato was not as good as I would like it to be. It was not crispy and felt undercooked .even the amount of honey used felt less. As for the mocha chino it tasted good but wasn't stellar by any means. Staff was polite and quick to respond. my otherwise good experience of Jaipur talkies was let down by lackluster taste of the food they served.
Overall I feel that Jaipur talkies is a place with good ambience, polite staff ,modest pricing but won't satisfy your taste buds.
