I visited Jagdish Khanawal this March. The curry was okay, but the quality of the fish was terrible. The Surmai piece was so small, it felt like a thin slice of potato. The Pomfret also seemed stale because later, when I ate a fresh Pomfret at the harbor, the difference between that and the one at Jagdish was like night and day. As for the guesthouse, it felt like just a place for visitors to stay. Unlike guesthouses in Kolhapur, where the owner's warmth is evident in their conversation, there was no such hospitality here. Overall, I wouldn't say it was bad, but it was just okay. Considering that seafood thalis on the beach are available for around ₹350, the ₹450 seafood thali at Jagdish felt overpriced. If you're looking for a seafood thali, go to a homestay near the beach. And if you're in Dapoli, it's better to enjoy Kombdi Vade rather than chasing after fish.
