I recently visited Gogoi Pork in Dispur, and it was an absolute treat! The moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The place has a simple, no-fuss setup, but the aroma of freshly cooked pork instantly made me hungry. I tried their smoked pork with bamboo shoots, and it was incredible! The smoky flavor blended perfectly with the tangy bamboo shoots, giving it that perfect Assamese touch. I also ordered the Pork Thali, which came with a variety of sides, all packed with traditional flavors. The portions were generous, and every bite felt like a taste of home-cooked goodness. What I loved the most was the authenticity of the food. The pork was tender, flavorful, and clearly sourced with care.
