Special thanks to Ankash Goswami for being so energetic, enthusiastic and genuinely concerned about getting things to the table fast (the sabzi came before the rotis and we could see him animatedly taking the onus to ask the kitchen why the rotis weren't readied before). Have included what all we had, what was good and what was bad. TL;DR: Great for a family gathering, superb veg starters and non veg, veg mains were okay and the chicken zaffrani was on the drier side. Lamb seekh was superb. Looking for a great place to celebrate my father's 60th included a shortlist of many places, Ishaara was one of them. Ishaara had exceptional non veg and very very good veg food. The live music was an added bonus. Budget-wise: At around 1.2k per person and how good the food was, felt like a stealFood variety: The veg and non veg were both superb. The modern Indian or Indian fusion dishes were great Vibe/aesthetic/energy of the place: Extremely solid gold vibes, every table was talkative but the live music was loud enough to reach across the room. The interior work is fab, we got some great pictures too! What we ordered and how the eaters thought of it: *Veg tikki platter 5/5: great taster with 4 varieties and 2 pieces each. We loved the dahi kebabs and got another serving of 4 pieces. All tikkis had amazing flavour*Mushroom Galawat kebab 5/5: Delectable, melting in the mouth, pure smooth mushroom*Malai paneer naan roll 2/5: Avoidable decision this, the filling was fine but the roll base was too think to let you enjoy the total flavour. We ended up just eating the insides and leaving the naan. *Dum pukth subz handi 3.5/5: A mix veg done in good garlic heavy almost mughlai/awadhi flavours. *Lamb Seekh 5/5: melted in the mouth, perfectly spiced *Zaffrani chicken 3/5: One piece was great but the other piece was too dry to eat*Chicken tikka pizza 4/5: More like a tandoori naan-pizza, great tasteCriticisms/Room for improvement:*The quantity is okay, nothing special*Limited variety in cocktails, especially for vodka and rum
