Last time i ordered from this restaurant 1st the order was delivered late and also it was incomplete (thats somewaht okay cos these things happen sometimes)
But them when i called the delivery boy to ask him about the missing item he started shouting at me that what the hell can i do about that.......
On top of that neither zomato nor the restaurant guys knew who the delivery boy was.....
Looks like they have outsourced that to some 3rd company who's sending people like this to deliver.......
And neither zomato nor the restaurant is answerable for them
Food plays an essential role at junctions. That one good meal works wonders for all travellers. Indore Junction works up some amazing breakfast, short eats and mid-evening snacks that work wonders on anyone's appetite and palate.
Another good part is that, Indore as a city is synonymous to good, high on calories yet light on the pocket food. I'm sure Pune has embraced the goodness that Indore has to offer.
With a smallish menu, that covers flaky breakfast dishes, tangy snacks and spicy mid-evening delights, this outlet is quite a rage amongst a lot of people.
Here's what I tried and would subsequently recommend too;
Bun Maska with Cheesy Masala Omelette: A thick omelette with cheese in between, with copious amount of butter between freshly baked buns. A couple of slices of bread slipped in to make it a good meal.
Wheat 'Methi' Parathas: Couple of medium sized fenugreek stuffed parathas (triangular wheat bread) with masala based yogurt, lime and mango spicy pickle (relish) and tamarind sauce. Packs quite a punch!
Crispy Poha: An Indore speciality that includes rice flakes cooked in turmeric, chopped chillies and onions, garnished with coriander. A light breakfast for champions in the making served with savoury snacks sprinkled over it.
Indori Hot Dog: Colloquially called 'Haat Daawg', it bears no semblance to the New York frankfurter or the chili dogs. This 'Haat Daawg' consists of a medium sized freshly baked bun with an onion and potato patty mashed in between these sliced buns, topped with tangy tamarind sauce, onions and savoury snacks. Bite into this goodness!
Definitely an enjoyable brunch session with all these goodies on the table. Reminded me of the food that makes Indore famous among food travellers and lovers.
Time to take a mini-halt at this junction and dig into all that Indore Junction can offer. Get a bunch of guys and gals pals together and eat to your heart's content.
Arey Bhaiyye! Ek mast pohe aur 'Haat Daawg' dena, sev maarke!
