INDO FRENCH WINES, located along the bustling Edapally - Panvel Highway adjacent to the KTC Petrol Pump in Mahé, is a spot tailored for those who appreciate a laid-back, casual atmosphere. As a pub and bar, this establishment caters primarily to groups fostering a social vibe, with service focusing on offerings like beer, spirits, wines, and various types of alcohol. A noteworthy point for future patrons is the availability of food which can be conveniently enjoyed at the bar itself.
The venue seems equipped to handle practical needs with amenities such as toilets, and for those traveling by car, street parking is available free of charge. Despite its niche appeal, it's important to note a lack of recent feedback from guests, with the latest reviews pointing to satisfactory service having been more than a year ago. Regular hours of operation remain undisclosed, and there are no special highlights or updates shared by the management.
Cuisines and dining options include exquisite choices typical for wine bars, although further details about the menu remain sparse. While visitor engagement once painted a positive picture, current operational insights appear scant, making fresh customer experiences somewhat rare to gauge. Potential guests might want to set practical expectations and possibly visit to gather personal perspectives on what INDO FRENCH WINES currently has to offer.
Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended I visited this place in Mahe yesterday and unfortunately it was a very poor experience. The food was extremely spicy to the point of being inedible and not in a good way. What shocked me most was when the waiter Subeesh, openly admitted that the place is not well maintained. That says a lot about their standards. If you're planning a relaxing trip to Mahe, I would strongly suggest avoiding this bar. It completely took away from the charm and joy of Mahe tourism for me. Sharing a few pictures I took during the visit – they speak for themselves. Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Service & Seafood Disappointments After the recent renovation, this place has undergone significant changes, creating an ambiance that is perfect for spending quality time with friends. With its new open seating arrangement, it provides a cozy atmosphere that is sure to make your gatherings enjoyable. However, it's important to note that the service at this establishment is not up to par, especially when it comes to payment options. If you plan on paying by card, be prepared for the inconvenience of having to walk all the way to the counter to complete your transaction. This lack of efficiency can be frustrating and may dampen your overall experience. Another aspect that detracts from the dining experience is the service provided by the staff at the counter. Unfortunately, they have been consistently disappointing in their customer service skills, making it difficult to feel properly attended to and valued as a customer. When it comes to the food, it's worth mentioning that it is average in quality. While this place is located close to the coastal area, and one might expect exceptional seafood options, I have had multiple negative experiences with the fish menu. As a result, I would caution against ordering seafood dishes here, as they have not consistently met my expectations. In summary, while this renovated place offers a cozy environment for spending time with friends, there are certain aspects that need improvement. The service, particularly regarding card payments, is subpar, and the staff at the counter can be unprofessional. Additionally, the average quality of the food and inconsistent seafood options should be considered when deciding on your order. Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
