The change of the Ruling party in the State of Rajasthan, to the BJP, has resulted in a change of the name from Indira Rasoi to that of Annapurna Rasoi. Consequently, the quantity of food served has also been increased, but, the rate has not been raised, thus continuing for the benefit of the consumers. The primary aim of the government, of whichever Political party ruling, has been to provide food security to everyone. The food served at most of the Annapurna Canteens, at Dungarpur town, prepared hygienically, by the Non- Governmental Organizations, is above- average in quality. Staff managing are very courteous and honest, sticking to maintaining cleanliness.They respond to the request of customers to pack the food. The staff managing invariably take photo so that the government has a record of the beneficiaries & avoid mismanagement. At a few Canteens, people can also view the Television programs. The consumers should be advised to wash their plates themselves, once they have finished eating. Extension of hours, especially at nights, atleast in a few Annapurna Canteens, would be welcome.
