I visited Hotel Vaishnav in Gargoti last Monday evening with my husband. The place seemed quite busy, and there were no seats available initially. We waited for around 5 minutes before getting a table. We ordered Misal Pav and Pav Bhaji. Both dishes were average in taste, nothing special to mention. The real disappointment came when I found a white hair in the Misal curry. I immediately informed the waiter, and to his credit, he acknowledged it and agreed to replace it. However, I had completely lost my appetite for Misal after seeing such an unhygienic incident. I requested them to replace my dish with Pav Bhaji instead, but honestly, after that experience, I didn’t feel like eating anything there at all. Hygiene is the most basic expectation in any restaurant, and sadly, this place failed in that aspect. The staff’s response was polite, but it doesn’t change the fact that finding hair in food is unacceptable. I would think twice before visiting again.
