Visited Hotel Shauryawada after seeing countless reels and social media posts showing “mouth-watering thalis” — but the reality was completely opposite. We went with high expectations, but right from the start, the experience was disappointing. The service was extremely slow; we had to call the waiter multiple times just to get water. When the food finally arrived, it looked good in presentation, but the taste was bland, overly spicy, and lacked balance. The so-called “special chicken thali” was neither fresh nor flavorful — the chicken was rubberised and oily. The rice was sticky and tasteless, and there was no proper solkadi or unlimited gravy or aalni. The hygiene was another issue — unclean tables, chipped plates, and flies around the area completely ruined the dining experience. The ambience is average at best, and the prices are way too high for the poor quality served. Honestly, this place is overhyped by Instagram reels and influencers. You’ll get much better food, taste, and value at a small local dhaba. Verdict:. Food – 2/10. Hygiene – 3/10. Service – 2/10. Value for Money – 1/10. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
