Looked a little & saw Hotel Mumbai House located opposite Big Bazaar which also houses a restaurant by the name Flavours. Went in it was almost empty except for 1 or 2 house guests only.
Looked at the menu & ordered
- Paneer Chilly
- White Pasta
- Paneer Kurkure
- Spring Rolls
First came Paneer Chilly with soft chunks of Cottage Cheese tossed with sauces & veggies. The taste & quantity both were good. Then came Spring Rolls, a combination of veggies & noodles rolled into thin all purpose flour sheets & deep fried to crisp & served with a sweet chilli sauce. Spring Rolls were really crisp & filling was tasty & quantity was okay as it was a hotel's restaurant. Then came Paneer Kurkure, cottage cheese bars marinated & coated with crisps & deep fried. It was raining & it was smelling real good, paneer was very soft & coating was also good. Lastly came White Pasta, it was a classic pasta, cooked to perfection, served with garlic bread but the only problem was that it had a little sweet taste. Otherwise it was good.
Overall its a quiet space in a much crowded area otherwise. If you want to hang out in peace & are ready to pay a premium price for it then you can try this place.
