Disappointing Experience at Kunal Hotel, Tapkir Chowk I recently visited Kunal Hotel, located in Tapkir Chowk, with high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We ordered their Paneer Bhurji, Roti, and Baingan Masala, but what we got was a plate of oily, flavorless food. The Paneer Bhurji was swimming in oil, and the paneer itself was overcooked and rubbery. The Baingan Masala, which was supposed to be a highlight, was bland and lacked any discernible flavor. It was as if the spices were just sprinkled on top without any thought to balancing the flavors. What really took the cake, however, was the price. For the quality of food we received, the prices were exorbitant. It's one thing to pay a premium for good food, but when the food is subpar, it's just not worth it. The ambiance of the hotel was average, but the service was friendly. However, friendly service can only go so far when the food is not up to the mark. Overall, our experience at Kunal Hotel was a disappointment. With so many other options available in the area, it's hard to recommend this place. Unless they revamp their menu and focus on serving quality food, I'd advise others to steer clear. *Rating: 2/5 stars *Recommendation: Try other options in the area. If you're looking for a similar cuisine, there are better places to go. Maybe it's time for Kunal Hotel to revisit their recipes and cooking techniques.
