The place to be for authentic, street style, dhaba style, home style food. You can skip your hotel breakfast and visit here for Kerelam style parotta or idli and chutney. Podi powder is must try. Pls visit him. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

On my recent visit to Havelock, I was on a food exploration journey — one where I wanted to explore the different flavours and cuisines available on the island. So, we were asked to try out the Bengali dish, Daab chingri, a coconut-based prawn curry with coconut cream (malai). This dish is served along with a massive rice bowl. It was delicious, a perfect meal during a hot summer afternoon. Daab chingri is a made-to-order dish. So if planning a lunch, let them know either a day prior or latest by 9-10am on the day. Neesha from Yerrata Resorts recommended the place, so we placed an order and had a meal at Yerrata since we were staying with them. The place is run by a family. We ate here almost 3 times on our 3 day stay on Havelock island. The food is super fresh and tasty. On first visit we ordered Masala dosa, ghee podi dosa, and a red snapper fry. On our second visit we ate chapati with egg tadka and egg curry which was prepared fresh on order. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Vegetarian options: The has vegetarian options available. Dietary restrictions: It's vegan and great meat options available.
