We visited this hotel and ordered Veg Biryani, but what was served to us was clearly Veg Pulao, not biryani. When we pointed this out, instead of apologizing or replacing the order, the staff started arguing and said “veg biryani yaha pe aisi hi banti hai.” We are not eating veg biryani for the first time—we very well understand the difference between veg biryani and veg pulao. The attitude was extremely unprofessional, and there was no willingness to accept the mistake or resolve the issue. Very disappointing experience.

Babbu Hotel is my earliest memory of having biryani in Nagpur since childhood. It has always been the OG biryani place for the city. Over the years they have opened multiple outlets under the same name, and the quality can vary, but on a good day the Babbu Hotel in Mominpura still serves genuinely good biryani that brings back childhood memories. I cannot deny that an order has been mixed up once or twice for me, but considering the huge number of orders they handle it is understandable as long as they fix the mistake when it happens. :)
