I recently visited Hotbox Restaurant in Kakkanad and tried their Shawai. The meat was tender and flavorful, complemented by aromatic spices. The portion size was generous, and the staff was friendly. Ordered chicken biryani today... very disappointed. There was no flavour or taste in the biriyani.. quality of the food has come down drastically...rice was not cooked properly... will not recommend anyone again .also the pic on the box shows ..namma Bengaluru???? didn't find any connection

Well, I went there with my friends and tried out there " Pot beef Biriyani ", which have a quantity of 3 full and a half biriyani ( that's what they said, when I asked about the quantity, I felt like it's true. Got a good quantity ). Now about the biriyani, one of the best beef Biriyani, I'm not comparing this with any others beef Biriyani. For me I really enjoyed it, was quite satisfying, the quantity and quality was so good. The beef if so well cooked. As side dishes we get achaar(pickle), thenga chammanthi, salad and a pappadam. And we get payasam and a black tea(lite) as complimentary. Over all I'm happy. Is it affordable! Nop it is expensive a bit, but me and my friends never felt disappointed, because it had that kind of quality! (Completely our experience when we tried ) Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pot Beef Biryani
