We had stayed for 2 nights at holy river and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Absolutely prompt & polite staff with lots of variety in breakfast. Location of the hotel is prime you can get all the best cafes nearby at walking distance around the hotel itself. Highly recommended! Service: 5

We were a group of six people staying for 7 nights. The short version: it was an excellent hotel, worth every penny. Long version: Location: very near the main road. Tons of restaurants and shops nearby. 10-12 minutes walk to the Laxman Jhula. Ram Jhula and Sivandanda Ashram is a 15-20 minutes walk away. Tip: If you are booking a full rickshaw to Ram Jhula, hire one outside the Divine Cafe (GMap it) for ₹300. The ones on the Main Road fleece customers (₹400-500). Rooms. Very luxurious 4-star level. Bright and tasteful decor. Spotlessly clean premises and rooms. Full marks to the housekeeping staff. The beds and pillows were very soft and you can sink into them (though I prefer a firmer mattress and pillow). Clean bathroom with an excellent shower. Clean towels, and necessary toiletries provided. Very polite, helpful staff. Only one negative point. The air vent acts as a heater by default in winters but it overheats the room (even at 16°C setting). It seems the setting cannot be changed. So a workaround is to keep it switched off so the room remains comfortably cool. Tip: The reception desk is on the first floor involves climbing several steps. For elderly and with knee problems, they have an elevator. Go through their restaurant Holy Oven on the ground floor to access the elevator. The restaurant Holy Oven has excellent food. I wasn't happy with their flat pancakes but the rest of the stuff is delicious. The Divine Cafe 2 minutes walk away also offers food matching its name— simply divine! They have a Spa on the fourth floor. Masseur Akash did a great job—a blessing for limbs tired from all the walking. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here the next time I visit Rishikesh. Service: 5

Near main road of laxman jhula. But when you step outside of the hotel be ready for the heavy traffic This hotel is very expensive. I had booked this hotel for my parents and relatives for the 3 nights with superior rooms with breakfast. Breakfast spread was nice. Although they had dinner at the restaurant which was very costly. Like one icecream Scoop is for 120 rupees. Rooms are nice and clean. Also reception staff was very helpful and supportive. Thank you holy river hotel. Date of stay:June 2025 Room Tip:Please book this hotel minimum 2 months before your trip so you can get a good deal. Otherwise this hotel pricing gets very high. Trip type:Travelled with family
