Entering Hayat Restaurant at Salap Howrah was an immediate, profound mistake. This outlet is a complete and utter embarrassment to the local dining scene, and I caution anyone against setting foot inside. The staff were profoundly negligent and displayed a level of apathy that borders on open contempt for the customer. They move with glacial slowness, possess zero training, and treat basic service requests as a monumental chore. They have no business working in hospitality. As for the food, it was a vile, unforgivable offense. Every dish was served either lukewarm or pathetically cold, a clear indicator of zero quality control and a total disregard for hygiene. The flavor profile was equally repulsive—stale, oversalted, and swimming in an oily sludge. The sheer lack of freshness and care in preparation is disgusting, raising serious questions about the sanitary conditions of the entire kitchen. This place is a scam and an insult to the price tag.
