Detailed review ahead. So, after a lot of people's recommendations, I finally visited the much talked about Haveli restaurant, on my recent Kanpur trip. But bro... ya to mera din kharab the, ya chef chhutti pe tha. Do alag alag dishes ki ek hi gravy? Ek jaisa taste. Aur wo bhi unka nahi. Aur bhai, 'Jal-frezi ko alag tarike se banate hain' bol ke Mix Veg nahi dete. Paneer ki 'thick' gravy beh rahi thi. Bhai.. Kuch bhi..!! Yes, their Naan was really good. But that's that. Can be eaten with chutney alone and still would be a better choice. Overall, if Kanpur-ites find the food awesome here, I am not surprised. But I fell for a forum website's(people will guess) reviews. They were all gaga about Haveli. Did I enjoy the food? To a certain extent - yes! Will I repeat? Definitely yes, if cooked better.
