Shame on them! I have dined in countless restaurants around the world, and this experience was not one of cultural misunderstanding but one of deliberate prejudice. Their actions spoke volumes—Indians weren’t worthy of the same respect they extended to others. Foreigners were greeted with beaming smiles, their orders taken with a tone of hospitality straight out of a tourism commercial. For us, though? The rolled eyes, the dismissive gestures, and the sheer lack of basic courtesy told an entirely different story. This isn’t just about bad service or average food; it’s about the underlying hatred they didn’t bother to hide. A restaurant is supposed to bring people together over shared love for food, not divide them with blatant bias.
