We planned an unplanned drive to the leopard trail, Gurugram. Had heard about it and Wanted to check out. G20 off days seemed to be the best time. Leopard trail is a picnic place if more of a hiking trails place in the backdrop of Aravalli hills and has a few cafés in the area. We drive down from Delhi using gps and took us an hour to reach. We parked at the happy pie cafe. Spacious cafe with basic facilities. Started around 7 am and reached around 8 am. About 33 kms. Cafés open at 6 am. They have a good area to sit and a machaan type area to sit. A patty hall which is currently used for the staff to sleep. Morning time you won’t get tandoori items We had aloo paranthas. They serve it mint onion garlic chutney, curd and pickles. Aloo paranthas was too thick and tasted more of atta and had less filling. Chutney was really nice. Maggi was served in pan. Tasted normal. Tea wasn’t great. We sat for a while. Enjoyed the music. But it was too hot and sunny. They have couple of fans and one cooler. It’s too damn hot. Better to go when weather is pleasant else you ddnt sit. Evenings are more crowded sbd lit up. Pool is also available but was getting cleaned up. It’s operational in the evening. Food nd facilities are average There was no electricity in the washroom Furniture is basic Credit card machine was not working. They take cash or Paytm etc Gave a 10% discount on request It’s a nice experience though They may add rooms for stay down the line Toilets are not very clean A few tables are chairs are not clean A parantha costs rs 120 and a small cup of tea costs rs 50 Food is expensive Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
