I recently visited Haldi Ram with high expectations, as it is known to be a reputed brand offering quality Indian food. However, my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered Chole Bhature, but what I received was far from acceptable. Firstly, the bhature were very hard and chewy, making them difficult to eat. They lacked the soft, fluffy texture that is expected from a good bhatura. Secondly, the size of the bhature was unusually small, which made the portion feel inadequate. It did not feel like a complete or satisfying meal at all. As for the chole, the taste was bland and lacked the authentic flavor that Haldi Ram is known for. The spices didn’t seem balanced, and the texture was not appealing either. Overall, my experience was quite upsetting. I had come in expecting a delicious, fulfilling meal, but left completely disappointed. The quality did not match the standards of such a big brand. I truly hope the management looks into the quality control seriously, especially for such classic dishes. A brand like Haldi Ram should never compromise on the basics.
