Food taste was really good, because of the taste, rush is high. Service was very very poor, those North Indian guys won't even respond for the order quickly. We can understand it's a small place. Queue was standing inside hotel, so it's conjusted inside. They have to do some alternative for this. I feel price is very high mutton briyani - 300 rs & chicken is 220 rs. Hyped up all over social media, I was quite curious to try out Hajiyar Biryani. Initially planned to visit the place but later decided to order through a food delivery app instead. I placed an order for Chicken 65 Biryani. The parcel came well-packed with half a kilo of chicken biryani, topped with 4–5 pieces of boneless Chicken 65, along with raita, ennai kathirikai, and bread halwa. To be honest, I found the biryani itself quite bland — it could have been more flavorful. However, the accompaniments made up for it to an extent. The Chicken 65 tasted amazing, and the sides were good too. Overall, it was a decent experience, but the biryani didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. Tried Hajiyaar Biriyani in Pallavaram recently and it’s definitely a strong contender in the area’s biryani scene! The Mutton biryani stood out with tender, well cooked meat and fragrant, good quality rice. The Chicken biryani was equally tasty and both came in portions generous enough for one person or even more. Complimentary sweet that comes with your meal was a nice touch! During peak hours/Sundays, expect a long queue so takeout might be the better choice. Dining space is limited, so don’t expect a sit down experience if it’s crowded. Still, it’s a hidden gem. A great pick if you're around Pallavaram and craving flavorful biryani at a decent price.
