This restaurant holds a lot of nostalgia for me, so I decided to visit with my family after a long time to see if the food still has the same great taste it used to. Unfortunately, the restaurant has lost its charm, and the food did not meet our expectations. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, and we were the first customers to dine in. Shortly after we were seated, the restaurant began to fill up. As usual, we expected to receive our order first, but it was served to another table that arrived after us. When I inquired about the delay, the waiter, Chanson, informed me that he had just started his shift and the person who took our order had not informed him. As a result, we had to wait at least 30 minutes for our food. When our order finally arrived, we had ordered soup, noodles, garlic burnt fried rice, and Hong Kong chicken. However, the soup was so cold that we could gulp it down in one go. The noodles were good, but the Hong Kong chicken needs improvement. It seemed like they have opted for an Indian twist, which has taken away from the authentic flavor that used to make this restaurant stand out for Chinese cuisine. When I asked about the change in food quality, the staff confirmed that the old chefs are gone and they have been understaffed for quite some time. This made it clear that something was amiss. Anyway, I wish the owners the best of luck and hope they take better care of the business. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,200–1,400

Haiking Restaurant in Himayat Nagar is a delightful culinary spot that never disappoints. On our recent visit, we tried a range of dishes that truly stood out, making the dining experience memorable. The Veg Spring Rolls were perfectly crisp on the outside and filled with a well-seasoned, flavorful veggie mix—an ideal start to the meal. The Apollo Fish was a highlight—tender, juicy pieces of fish coated in a spicy, tangy sauce that was just right. The Thread Chicken offered a unique texture, with its crisp golden threads wrapped around succulent chicken strips, making it both fun and flavorful. The Prawn Chilli Fry was another standout, offering just the right balance of heat and taste, with the prawns cooked to perfection. We also tried the Prawn Haiking Noodles, which were packed with flavor and generous in portion. The prawns were fresh, and the noodles had a perfect wok-tossed aroma, making it a great main course choice. Beyond the food, the ambience was peaceful and pleasant, with soft lighting and a calm atmosphere—ideal for a relaxed meal. Overall, Haiking Restaurant delivers a satisfying combination of great food and a soothing environment. Highly recommended for seafood and Indo-Chinese lovers!
