Irresponsible and Untrustworthy Service - Avoid Parambariyam Hotel! I recently ordered from Parambariyam Hotel through Zomato, and the experience was nothing short of infuriating. Here's what happened: Order Placed: Two egg kothu parottas, one chicken kothu parotta, and one Mexican plate shawarma. The Issue: Shortly after placing the order, I received a call from the restaurant stating they didn’t have Mexican plate shawarma, despite having multiple shawarma options listed on their Zomato menu. The staff asked me to replace it with something else of equal value, so I opted for grill chicken. After waiting for an hour, I received the delivery, only to find half the items missing! One kothu parotta was missing, and they failed to include the essential side dishes like kurma. When I confronted the delivery person, he said he only delivered what the restaurant provided. I immediately tried to reach the restaurant: Calls to Zomato's listed number: No response. Calls to the number they used to contact me for the replacement: Not reachable. Calls to the number listed on Google Maps: Also unreachable. It appears this entire restaurant is run by a bunch of irresponsible and careless individuals who have no regard for their customers. Final Verdict: 1. Terrible communication: Listing items they don't serve and then ghosting customers. 2. Pathetic service: Missing items and incomplete orders. 3. Zero accountability: No way to contact them, leaving customers helpless. Parambariyam Hotel doesn’t deserve your time, money, or trust. My experience has been nothing but frustrating, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place until they fix their broken operations. Rating: (1/5). I have never seen such a bad restaurant. Today, I visited this establishment and ordered soup and a main course. After 25 minutes, I received the soup at my table. I waited some time for my main dishes, but they did not arrive. The server, who took my order, did not come out of the kitchen when I asked. Finally, after waiting 40 minutes, I canceled my order and requested the bill. The menu listed the soup price as Rs. 80, but they charged me Rs. 100. When I asked for clarification about the extra charge, they said the prices had increased but had not been updated on the menu. I have never encountered a restaurant like this, and I never expected such an experience in the temple city of Kumbakonam. I strongly suggest that everyone avoid this restaurant; otherwise, you will waste your time, money, and peace of mind. The management of Parambriyam restaurant is not capable of running the establishment properly, and they should not continue like this. It was a very disappointing experience.
