A local attraction - Himalayan Tibet Museum, that is situated beside Hotel Dil, is a part of the authentic culture of the city. The positive aspect of this place is that the staff is pleasant. Worst hotel in Darjeeling. Rooms are damp and so dirty that one day is painful to stay. Also the staffs are rude .Kitchen is horrible. Don’t book third class hotel. Last year we were there with our students. Experience was pathetic.

Worst ever experience... Rooms are very dirty bathrooms are horrible, the hotel staffs are not reliable. Here are a few of our experiences: 1. The dawn we were supposed to visit Tiger Hill, they sent an 8 sitter car while we were 10 in number. The drivers always do late, he came at 5 AM while the sunrise was at 4:44 AM. The hotel staff couldn't arrange a 10 sitter car within time, and our Tiger Hill trip went in vain. 2. The sightseeing time, the worst behaviour by the hotel staff was that, he told us the driver would show the places and we will do lunch at the hotel around 2 pm. By 1:30 pm, we had covered the Japanese temple and peace pagoda, batasia loop and ghoom monastery. After Batasia loop we asked the driver to drop us at the hotel as it was lunch time. On the other hand, a hotel staff (name not mentioned here) instructed the driver to go to the Rock Garden and then come to the hotel (it takes about 3 hours) in Nepali. Maybe their intention was to gain extra profit by not giving us lunch in a very tricky manner. They thought nobody in the group knew nepali language and planned the conspiracy in nepali while one in our group knew nepali and easily figured out what was going on.

I would give a 0 star I booked from oyo n they denied booking during 2021 durga puja. Booking id-XGVH0971 Now i am not getting my refund back.. Go to Darjeeling but dont go to Hotel Dil

SIR HOW COULD YOU RATE A HOTEL WHEN YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED TO CHECK IN. RATHER YOU RATE OYO FROM WHERE YOU MADE YOUR BOOKING. YOU WILL BE DENIED FROM CHECKING IN , IN FUTURE ALSO IF YOU MOVE THROUGH OYO.
