Food isn’t authentic malwani at all. Over priced for the quantity and quality they provide. Restaurant isn’t clean and not maintained as well. Very congested seating. Lot of food items were unavailable.Avoid this at all cost.

This used to be our absolute favorite spot for Malwani food back when it was located in MHB Colony. The taste back then was phenomenal—every dish was bursting with authentic flavors, and it quickly became our go-to place for seafood. Unfortunately, after the building went under redevelopment, the restaurant closed its MHB outlet. When it reopened in IC Colony, we were beyond excited to relive that amazing experience. Sadly, the reality was quite the opposite. We first tried a takeaway, and the food tasted completely off—nowhere close to what it used to be. Hoping it might’ve just been a bad day, we visited again for a dine-in experience. But once again, we were left disappointed. The food was bland and lacked the rich, authentic taste it was once known for. It's heartbreaking to see such a great place lose its charm. Really hope they can bring back the old magic, but for now, it's a no from us.

Nestled in the bustling streets, Malvani Pahunchar stands as a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Malvani cuisine. From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance and the inviting aromas promise an experience that’s both comforting and exciting. The Prawns Rawa Fry is a dish that immediately captures your attention. The prawns, fresh and succulent, are coated in a light, crispy batter of semolina (rawa), which is seasoned to perfection. Each bite offers a delightful crunch, followed by the tender sweetness of the prawns, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. Equally impressive is the Prawns Biriyani, a dish that showcases the intricate layers of Malvani spices. The rice, fragrant and fluffy, is generously laden with prawns that have absorbed the aromatic spices, offering a taste that is both bold and nuanced. It’s a dish that doesn’t just satisfy your hunger but also takes you on a journey through the coastal landscapes of Malvan. A special mention must be made of Sagar, the waiter whose service was impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive, Sagar has a knack for making guests feel valued and well-cared for. His recommendations are spot-on, and his knowledge of the menu and the stories behind the dishes add an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. Malvani Pahunchar is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of flavors, hospitality, and the joy of sharing a meal. Whether you’re a lover of seafood or a connoisseur of spices, this place is sure to leave a lasting impression on your palate and your heart.
