In this newly developed commercial complex, there is only one common floor which is sectioned in three parts, one door leads you to Gulab sweets (where the sweets are displayed but there is no one to attend). Although they have seating area over the upper floors too but it was closed, well, because there were hardly any customers. Moving ahead, there is a row of tables in the middle which is supposed to be OTG. On the other end, lead by other door, is LC which is vibrant and well lit.
Despite three different restaurants at same place, we get limited options in cuisine. For instance, Gulab serves only Indian snacks and sweets (no pastries either) and LC serves wings, burgers, wraps and rice bowls.
The place is new yet it was untidy. The service was not only prompt but the servers were polite. Food is the point where this outlet doesn't live up to the Gulab standards. The tandoori paranthas and cheese naan had more onions than the primary ingredient, also they were over roasted and blackened at the edges. The bhature chole served here would be loved by those who like thin skinned crispy bhaturas. As always Gulab is good at sweets only.
On the contrary, LC was pretty impressive. The rice bowl is unlike the one served at kfc, it consist of rice cooked with vegetables and having a strong flavour of vinegar, which is not beyond tolerance level.
This might not be a good option for a dine-out, but is pretty good for a halt between a journey. Also, the sweets and hampers being good, this is yet another option for the locals to get premium sweets for special occasions.
