Ukdiche modak from Godwa are my all time favourite. The best part of it is the outer layer (ukad ) is so nicely made , so soft that it melts in the mouth. Also, love their filling of grated fresh naral( coconut), jaggery, cardamom and dryfruits, it just enhances the flavour of modak. Also the modak has abundance / good amount of filling in it cz of which it is wholesome complete food all by itself. The wonderful petals/ paklya of modaks are shaped painstakingly with one's own hand, making it look very cute and presentable. It looks so uniform in every aspect. So all dessert lovers pls try out ukdiche modak from Godwa once and I am sure you won't be able to resist by eating only once, you will yearn to have those soft, moist, coconut jaggery filling dumpling again and again . Adding tuup or ghee on it will make it taste all the more heavenly. So pls do try ukdiche modak at Godwa .

Had ordered dalimbe ussal, besan pitla & tandalachi bhakri for lunch on Monday noon from Godwa. It was very wonderfully packed. Also, the taste of each of the dish was very flavorful and authentic. To start with besan pitla had the right amount of consistency, the flavour of khamang fodni in the pitla enhanced its taste. Loved the pitla . It was thick & not watery at all. Then comes my all time favourite- dalimbe ussal. It was very nicely made as requested. It was zhanjanith ( as I had specifically asked for making it spicy ) , daalimbe was akkha and not broken, also it was very well sprouted & properly cooked, not to forget nicely roasted coconut and spices ground masala which took the flavour of ussal to authentic malvani style , they also had added kokam in it which gave the ussal perfect amount of tanginess. Loved both the sabjis. Also, had ordered tandalachi bhakri to have with both the sabji and they were very nicely made - bhakris were perfectly flat, they weren't thick as I avoid having thick bhakris, they were soft, moist, properly cooked, so it was awesome bhakris, I thoroughly enjoyed it with ussal and pitla combo. On my request , they had sent mirchi cha techa which was perfect accompaniment to the soft, melt in mouth bhakris . Thecha had proper combination of green chillies, peanut and garlic and coarsely grounded, which gave that nice, traditional flavour to it. Overall , a very good lunch experience at godva, through delivery. Loved it and relished it fully. Surely recommended to all food lovers. And yeah management, pls note, the bhakris made and served on Monday afternoon were really perfect in every sense - it was properly flat, patal, not thick, properly roasted so not kacchi , and was very soft and melt in mouth kinda type, and last but not the least, they were rolled properly in foil paper cz of which the softness & moistness was retained. So thank you Godwa for wonderful delivery experience. Looking forward to have many such wonderful ,mouthwatering and traditional meals at your outlet regularly..
