Being a Sunday we had a party arranged at our place. Gelato Italiano was our prime choice to order Gelato! We placed our order for Gelato costing around 4,168₹ the order was received by Gelato Italiano upon request! 20mins later they straightaway reject the order. Imagine guests being at your place in midst of a celebration expecting gelatos and you are left with utter disappointment and no money for desserts left in your account( oh we manage to avail a better service from other dessert joint). The amount refund was initiated immediately although a courteous gesture of an apology was expected from the concerned and a better alternative from Zomato in terms of refund! A Zomato credit of the deducted amount would have done wonders instead of a refund as I could have sought ordering dessert from other responsible food joints who prioritise customer experience . If the authorities both from the Zomato and Gelato Italiano are viewing this a little amends in terms of customer experience and refund transactions could do your customers a solid.
