This place sucks and the owner is very mean and dishonest and disrespectful despite of the fact that they are sitting on very pious place. We found metal wire in the panner dosa and upon complaining, the owner said you added that wire yourself as you don’t want to pay money. After arguing further he said “ itna sa wire khane se kya hoga”. Refrain yr self from going “gopal restaurant specially and the other restaurant also is not very different. Rude staff , unhygienic surroundings. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

For the price they charge, they should be using ghee to fry, not that same old reused oil. I’m not even sure if it was reused, but the taste said it all flat, flavorless, like old oil. Honestly, I was really disappointed. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The dakshineswar food plaza is the perfect place to grab a bite after giving puja in the temple. The prices are slightly higher but that's understandable considering the ambience. Very clean and totally vegetarian food inside the ac sitting area. Hygiene is properly maintained and the staff are well behaved. The food options are less but yummy. I ordered kachori which comes with cholar dal for ₹50 and a glass of lassi for ₹50.
