KGP Station Food Plaza – Honest Review ️ Stopped by the food plaza at Kharagpur Station for a quick meal and honestly, it was better than I expected for a railway joint. Ordered the basic thali — two soft chapatis, a simple mixed veg curry, some pickle, and sliced onion. The sabzi was home-style — not too spicy, cooked well, and had that familiar "ghar ka khana" vibe. It had a good mix of potatoes, beans, carrots, and capsicum. The chapatis were fresh and warm, slightly charred for that perfect touch. The pickle added the right kick, and the onion slices were fresh — small detail, but appreciated. Nothing fancy or gourmet here, but for a railway station meal, it's clean, tasty, and filling. Great for travelers who want a no-nonsense, affordable, and comforting meal while on the move.
