Dining out has become a casual affair nowadays, through offers and delivery from one end of the town to another, it has diluted the whole gastronomical experience, well for me at least. So my visit to farmlore was an attempt to rekindle some of that lost charm. To be honest, places like farmlore and grasshopper never really appealed to me, they were always on my radar, but I could never bring myself to actually commit to a visit. Reviews on Zomato, didn't help their case either, but I wanted to give it a shot and here are my impressions.Ambience expectedly was beautiful, cozy and had a sense of occasion about it, that helped set the tone for what was to come. Everyone who waited on us and interacted with us were well mannered and extremely approachable. We opted against the chef table and were seated in a quiet corner.We opted for the 5 course lunch. I won't go into too much detail as to what was served in each course and how it tasted, because of the changing menu, it would be of no use to you. What I will tell you is that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The food in general was delicious, balanced and meticulously thought through, to the point where, the value proposition never crossed my mind. The whole meal was quite filling and I left with a sense of satisfaction that I seldom get spending anything upwards of 3k at any type of restaurant. (Bill for 2 was 7350)So should you visit Farmlore? That depends. If you are the sort that enjoys trying new experiences and are open to exploring something different, you will most likely enjoy the whole experience. If not, you may not come on board what they are looking to offer, and that's perfectly fine. Was I completely blown away by all the dishes? Most of them, Yes. Were some dishes a miss? Yes. Will I visit again? Maybe. Do you think this is something everyone should experience? Absolutely.

I visited this place and realised a perfect place to get together with your partner or family. Food was so testy nd yummy. Service is awesome.
