This restaurant charges ₹50 per person for using the washroom, which is against government regulations. Such practices reflect poor management and disregard for basic customer service. The overall experience was disappointing due to this unreasonable charge and lack of customer focus. Government should take strict actions against this kind of hotels. I recently visited the Umiam Lake Viewpoint and attempted to use the washroom at a nearby hotel. The attendant was not only rude but also demanded a ₹50 fee for its use. Citing the Indian Sarais Act of 1867, which mandates that hotels provide free access to restrooms and drinking water to all individuals, regardless of whether they are customers , I chose not to use the facility. Additionally, other reviews have highlighted poor food quality at this establishment. Given this experience, I strongly advise against visiting this hotel. I urge the government to take action against such establishments that flout regulations and provide subpar service. Meal type: Other Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
