Ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani, porotta and mutton chops. Mutton biryani was really good with good aroma. There is an egg hidden in each biryani. Chicken biryani is ok. Not that flavourful. I feel the biryani would have been a 5 star biryani if it were made of jeerakasala (jeerakasamba) rice. This was made of basmati rice. You get a pappadam, chammandi, lemon pickle, raita / curd salad with a biryani plate. Now the star of the show is mutton chops. 1 plate has 2 pieces of finely cooked mutton pieces with a nice gravy with lot of curry leaves. Let me tell you, just ordered few porottas and just soak it in the chops gravy, now you feel heaven. The waiter chetan was pretty decent in bringing orders timely and following up with orders. I used to frequent this place and love their food! Used to be authentic. Bought beef roast and chicken fry. It wasn't a roast, it was just beef curry. The chicken fry wasn't deep fried. It had sauted onions in it! The chicken can't be classified as a fry. The porotta was a relief. Regarding the order Token no. 123 & 131 made on 15th April 2024. Went to Elite hotel for a take away order. It was one of the worst take away experiences I've ever had. The customer service was abysmal and the quality of the food was just as disappointing. Doesn’t recommend this restaurant. Firstly, about the customer service, the 2 persons in the bill desk seemed completely disinterested and unhelpful. It felt like I was bothering them with my order. About the food, ordered a chicken masala but received a beef curry. The ordered mutton curry was extremely salty and had to have the porotta with a pickle. The food taste was awful. Won’t recommend Elite for food. Overall, I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with Hotel Elite. The combination of terrible customer service and lackluster food makes it a place I would strongly advise others to avoid.
