I ordered a veg thali. The vegetables available were bhindi masala and Gobi masala. Bhindi was very oily but the taste was better than Gobi. Gobi was badly chopped - very big pieces and mostly the ends (stem) of the Gobi was used. That's not how it should be. The chapati was decent, a bit thick. Dal was mainly water and tasteless. The ambience is good, no music, but the place is big so there is potential. Thank you Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

On our recent trip to Alibaug, we decided to try fish thali here. And indeed it was one of the best decision. We tried Surmai Thali and Pomfret Thali, & damnnnn it was absolutely delicious and flavourful. Solkadhi was amazing. The best was Tandul bhakri (rice) which was super soft. This is a hidden gem which will not be so hidden very soon. I had masala fry fish which reminded me of my mom's fish fry after so many years means this was not only fantastic but great taste too. Also had fish thali which which came with a rava fish fry , 2 bhakris, rice, dry fish preparation ( jawla...if u r maharashtrian u know what I mean ..lol....), another gravy dish and sol kadi. The fry fish was a huge size...a very mindful thing which the server did was she informed us of the price of fish to make sure we were ok with the rate. We also had prawns fried which were great. So all in all if u r in alibaug ( formerly known as Eli's baug as we were told ) then u must visit this eatery. It is spacious and airy. The service is good. It's definitely one of those places where you would want to go back again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
