I visited Effingut Bistro at Balewadi High Street recently with some old expectations, as it used to be one of my favourite places a few years ago. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed this time. The quality of beer has significantly declined — it felt diluted, almost like water was added. Another surprising part was the pricing: if you choose to pay through third-party wallets like Zomato, the prices are almost 50% higher for the same items, which feels very misleading. The ambience was average, and the service wasn’t great either — only one waiter was attending to all the tables, which affected the overall experience.
