Dum Biryani is living up to its name authentically made by Irshad chacha at Goa. Open for a brief period in the evening, the chacha described his biryani as purely home made with only fresh ingredients with no frozen meat used. Hence made in limited batches only this biryani take away is often visited by locals and people tend to book their order atleast 1 or 2 hours in advance and it just tends to finish in about an hours time. Officially open between 7 pm - 10 pm, the pot full of mildly spiced, infused with authentic flavours, this happiness doesn't last more than 8:30 pm. Biryani without artificial colours, home made, small batches home made biryani. Full plate in July 2023 costs Rs. 140 only and half plate at Rs. 90 - the pricing is true sign of authentic love for cooking and feeding. A must try in Goa.
