Deepak Hotel offers large and spacious rooms that at first look quite good and the pricing is definitely on the cheaper side, which might seem attractive for budget travelers. The rooms were clean on the surface, but unfortunately, the overall maintenance was poor. There was clear seepage on the walls, and the paint was peeling off in several places. A strong smell of dampness and moisture (seelan) made the stay uncomfortable. Even though the room size and basic cleanliness were decent, the condition of the walls and the unpleasant smell made it very difficult to actually stay here peacefully. While the hotel may be considered affordable, the atmosphere and maintenance issues outweigh the low cost. This is not a comfortable option if you are looking for a pleasant and hygienic stay.
