Strongly Not Recommended Location: Madhyamgram Doltala Overall Experience: Very Bad I had a very bad experience at Desi Lane. Specifically, the management's behavior was extremely poor and unacceptable. Strongly recommend not to go.

New Alipore Desi lane review post : Last Sunday on 12th Dec’21 we have visited this place with family on getting so many reviews, tried to call not getting phone, 1st we went topsia, found it was closed, then reached new alipore Desi lane alipore for the 299 buffet. As per rules no buffet entry after 2.30pm. We reached at 1.40 and it was a huge line outside. The bouncer wrote our name and asked to wait at 1.41pm. They kept on writing names atleast until 2.15 or 2.20pm. At 2.30 they told all the pending customers to go announcing buffet is closed. The waiting customers including us were expecting entry since our names were written were written since 1.41pm. We urged them to provide entry to atleast those members whose names they had added in the register n who are waiting since then. Meanwhile they gave entry to some customers who came later than us. One group came and got entry immediately since they bribed the bouncer n he allowed them making the whole crowd wait. The discussion went on when suddenly the bouncers started got ferocious and shouting at everyone and within moments he hit my friend and fall in fight. The staff then started pushing the customers out towards the stairs which included female as well whom the bouncers pushed. The sunglass specs broke, they snatched phone from my friends wife who was recording the whole incident, even the so called Bouncers were stated pushing ladies too and what not happened to the waiting customers, afer several requests Managers didn’t came. We called the nearby New Alipore police station. Few minutes later two cops came n asked to take the matter to the local police. They have discussed inside and not even sure what would be the action thereafter, Rather Police called us to come PS to give written complaint but this actually spoilt our Sunday afternoon, ladies and children are feeling unwell after the whole incident without having lunch n food for the whole day and we have come across such a devastating behavior by a restaurant for the 1st time that too from a reputed brand Desi Lane. It's nothing less than a nightmare for us. Extremely angry at their behavior towards the customers who are reason for their survival. If customers don't visit, the existence is a question mark !
