One of finest and decent sweet shop in Central Howrah..
I went there Howrah Maidan branch..
And ordered paneer and this unique misthi..
Really taste is fresh and awesome.

Once a relative brought sweets from here,so could taste their sweets. Tried kheer kadam,that was amazing,soft inside and hard outside.

Deshapriya Sweets is an old sweetmeat shop but nowadays probably due to hiked commercialism, their quality of food is decreasing. Last I had Manohara, a molasces-coated 'sandesh', costing rs. 5. It's not much good and though a try to reproduce Janai's, a locality in Burdwan, famous sweetmeat Manohara, is nothing but a vain try!
