You can say Assamese food or ghar ka khana. Simply awesome without much of butter and masala in Delhi. Opted for the thali, a duck kumura dish, and fish ou tenga dish. The thali was done well, esp the chutneys, karela bhaji, and a dal but could have been better. The rest of the accompaniments were bland and did not taste authentic. Ou tenga was so hard and dry and cut into bite-sized pieces. The quality of the fish was good although, but overall the curry could have been better. Considering how farms have opened up in Delhi NCR with fresh Assamese produce, I don't get why sourcing of fresh ingredients is a problem. The chef managed to salvage the duck despite the kumura not tasting good at all.
