I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at Day Fill on Kallai Road, Calicut. I ordered peri peri alfahm with rumali bread and lime juice. Later, I replaced the rumali with rice — which turned out to be a big mistake. The food was far below average: Alfahm lacked flavor and quality.Rice was the worst I’ve ever had.Fresh lime was okay, probably the only decent part of the meal. Initially, they didn’t serve any mayonnaise, and when I asked for it, they brought a version that tasted terrible. The so-called combo didn’t include any salad or basic sides, which is unacceptable for the price. The service was a complete mess. The person who took the order came back to confirm it — twice. Then another staff member came and asked again. I clearly requested a leg piece twice, yet was served a chest piece. The wait time was too long, and to top it off, even the water bottle was dirty. Only saving grace: the non-Malayali staff member (possibly Korean) — he was polite, attentive, and seemed to be the only professional person in the whole place. Giving 1 star just because of him. Definitely not visiting again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good food or basic service. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Dine in Price per person: ₹200–400
