Stepped in for a casual dining without much expectation. We see this restaurant regularly by the road side while driving on the road. When we entered @ 8:30 pm, customers were very less. I liked that. Atmosphere is good. Restaurant is clean. Staffs are courteous. Enough parking space. Food was quite good. Worst Mutton Biryani Experience ,Totally Disappointed !! I had a terrible experience at Dawat Restaurant, Kolkata. The mutton biryani was **served cold**, the **taste was very average**, and the **quantity was extremely less** considering the **overpriced ₹550** I paid. Absolutely not worth the money. On top of that, the **ambience is pathetic**, more like a bar than a fine-dining restaurant. It completely ruined the dining experience. The mutton pieces were few, not tender, and lacked flavor. Honestly, this felt like a complete waste of money. Instead, I strongly recommend visiting Aminia Restaurant—they serve rich, flavorful biryani with perfectly tender meat, served super hot. Please don’t go to Dawat Restaurant, Newtown. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
