We recently visited Dalma in Koramangala thinking it would offer the same authentic Odia taste we once knew. Unfortunately, the experience was shocking and nowhere close to the original Dalma we expected. The interior is poorly maintained — broken, very dirty, and far from welcoming. The captain taking the order seemed untrained and lacked basic communication and behaviour, which made the experience even worse. We ordered Mutton Thali, Mutton Kosha, and Prawn Patrapoda. None of the dishes were fresh. There was absolutely no Odia flavour. It felt like they simply boiled mutton pieces and mixed them in generic North Indian masala — no taste, no authenticity. The Prawn Patrapoda was a complete disappointment, and the Chhena Poda was a disaster. What was even more unacceptable — they didn’t have Rasabali in stock, yet instead of being honest, they served Balusahi dipped in boiled milk just to avoid losing money. Completely unethical. Dalma Koramangala seriously needs to rethink its operations. Right now, it feels like they are looting customers in the name of Odia cuisine. If this is the quality being served, it’s better to shut down the outlet or change the chef and staff immediately. A truly terrible experience — we will never visit again, and we strongly hope they take customer feedback seriously.
