According to the clients' reviews, Chinese and Thai dishes here are quite good. Try nicely cooked chicken, paneer and roti that are proposed at Country Roads. The attentive staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Fast service is something that visitors highlight in their comments. Inside, you are to see the terrific decor.

They also have activities like archery / shooting etc available apart from cricket, football, carrom, badminton, basket ball etc!
We started off with breakfast which wasn’t that impressive to be honest – comprised Peas Kachori & Aloo dum, Veg sandwich, Fresh juice (watermelon), Dosa (live counter), Boiled egg, Tea / coffee, Sandesh etc. Juice was fresh and tasty, dosa was outstanding! I didn’t like their kachori though – a tad too oily and below expectations!
Their lunch just rocked - Green salad, Yellow dal, Mix Veg Paneer, Aloo Dum, Peas pulao, Naan/roti, Achar, Chutney, Papad, Chocolate ice cream, Vanilla ice cream, Mango ice cream, Rosogolla, Sprite, Pepsi etc! Their dal was as good as Mumma’s dal – so homely and so tasty! Mix veg had huge chunks of paneer and was pretty nice – breads were served hot and fresh, roti was atta based! Rosogolla was lip smacking – ice creams tasted great – a 5/5 experience! We washed down the sumptuous meals with the aerated soft drinks!
For High tea, we were served tea and assorted veg pakoras – tea was nice but I could not taste the latter as I was too full with the lunch!
Pocket pinch was acceptable especially considering that they provided us an AC hall complimentary – yes, fully free of cost!
Overall, a nice picnic spot and a must try!
Keep up the good work
Amidst the hustle-bustle of the city life, who does not want a perfect gateaway to spend the leisurely weekends with your friends and family, at a place which not only offers solitude, peace and tranquility but also guarentees mouthwatering and sumptuous food to treat your tastebuds. Country Roads Resort, located on the way to Uluberia from Howrah, and very near to Bauria, at a driving time of around 30 minutes give or take from the toll tax at 2nd Hooghly Bridge offers an ideal option to come and spend your precious moments without worrying about the ups and down of your regular life. Surrounded by green nature, the resort offers comfortable rooms, as well as luxurious cottages which are up for sale to indulge into simplicity and step away from chaos and commotion.
The plus point of this place is beyond the offering of the simplistic accommodations, the food here is something to be reckoned with. We, as a part of Panchphoron were recently here to have a taste of their upcoming Biryani and Kebab Festival and needless to say, we were bowled and awestruck contemplating the sheer quality and quantity which was offered here. The festival focused in bringing together the legacy and popular Biryani and Kebabs all throughout the country and not specific to any particular region. For example, there was the aromatic Hyderabadi Biryani along with our acquainted Kolkata Biryani. The vegetarian section had something to offer as well, promoting the likes of Aloo Biryani and Bhaji Biryani.
For the Kebabs, what impressed me the most was the Galouti Kebab. Having tasted the original Tunday Kebab from Lucknow, this was as close as it could get. Simple, mouthwatering and no boasting of excess Masalas, this was a sheer treat to our appetite. Murgh Kalmi Kebab, Paneer Sufiyana Kebab, Rahmani Chicken Kebab were some of the other names which stood up amongst the lots. The combination of beer and Biryani and Kebabs were something to be reckoned with as it took us to a gastronomical venture in a peaceful ambiance and quiet scenario. The festival is to take place on the 17th of January, 2018, against a price tag of mere 999/- for Lunch which would include a Beer and 1299/- for Dinner which would include alcohol (Including all taxes). Rush to this place soon, to attend this festival, and even thereafter, to enjoy a couple of hours or days where you could be yourself and not worry about any of your troubles.
