Behrouz Biryani DLF City Court
Mughlai
Mughlai and Pakistani cuisines are well-cooked at this restaurant. The unique characteristic of Coriander Leaf is serving perfectly cooked chicken biryani, seekh kebabs and chicken skewers. Most guests recommend trying tasty gulab jamun, kulfi and pudding. It's a must while visiting this place to drink delicious wine, beer or Sangria. Good latte, tea or lemonade will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back.
Live music is performed by musicians in the evening. The success of this spot wouldn't be possible without the nice staff. Fine service is something guests agree upon here. You will pay democratic prices for your meal. There is a comfortable ambiance and beautiful decor at this restaurant.

Their ambience makes the place super special and visiting at night is altogether a calm and pacifying experience. But now all this is thing of the past.
I hope they do come back soon with great vigour! Till then, adieu and thanks for few wonderful memories!

Would I go back: nope
Recommendations: probably J.D. and coke, mutton burra (they were out of burra so I haven’t tried it, but I hear it’s good)
Let’s first talk about the ambience. When I visit a decently expensive, specialty cuisine restaurant, I expect the decor and ambience to resonate this. CL seems to be gunning for somewhere between an art gallery and an 80’s villain’s den. I have not seen so much wood panelling since the days of Shakal and his sharks. And the strategically place vases excavated from Mohenjo-daro made me feel I was at some obscure concept art gallery.
The food: whilst edible, the food was on the whole a big miss for me (given the elevated experience one has come to expect at these prices). The spicy tikka lacked flavour and smokiness, but I would give them marks for getting it nice and tender.
The dal was an overdose of kasoori methi. Not my favourite and certainly not something I would call cooked-overnight-on-a-tandoor. Finally, the Lal mas. Believe it or not, this was the only dish I would probably call well-made. However, I ended up with a piece of curly hair in the curry.
The manager and staff were fairly apologetic about this, but by then I was already disappointed with the level of quality and taste.
I don’t know whether these guys were having an off day or whether they are already on the “this is how good restaurants begins to decline” phase that we are all to familiar with... but I don’t think I am going back anytime soon.
