Colonel Saab: A Disappointing Experience I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete letdown. The Mutton Rogan Josh was raw, and despite bringing it to their attention, the chef flatly denied it, refusing to take any responsibility. This was not only unprofessional but also deeply frustrating. The biryani was unbearably spicy, far from the balanced flavors one would expect after specifically requesting to keep it less spicy. It was so bad that even the children in our family couldn’t handle it, and my son ended up vomiting. This completely ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable dining experience. The only saving grace was our waiter, Wasim Akram, who was attentive and tried his best to accommodate us despite the kitchen's shortcomings. He was polite and genuinely concerned, which somewhat softened the blow of an otherwise terrible visit. In summary, while the service provided by Wasim Akram was commendable, the food quality and the chef’s attitude were simply unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they make serious improvements to their food and customer service standards. A great place in Goa for comfort food after all the cafés. Good amount of vegetarian options Enough quantity, taste is amazing, affordable! We absolutely loved the hara bhara kebab and cheese naan. You can also avail discount on booking through Zomato gold.
