The college canteen in Attingal, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations during my recent visit. While the canteen offers a variety of dishes, including popular options like chicken biryani, my experience was marred by serious concerns regarding cleanliness and food safety. I was shocked to find a red leech in my chicken biryani, which was an extremely disturbing experience. Such an incident raises significant concerns about the hygiene standards in the kitchen. Upon further observation, I noticed that the kitchen itself appeared unclean, with visible signs of neglect in terms of sanitation. This is highly disappointing, especially in a setting where students rely on the canteen for their daily meals. Despite these issues, the staff was somewhat apologetic, but that doesn’t change the fact that food safety should be a top priority. I hope the management takes immediate action to improve cleanliness and ensure that such incidents do not happen again. Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory, and I would advise others to be cautious when dining here until the hygiene standards are addressed. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
It's for collage students. The canteen is run by kodumba sree and they offer fair and cheap price for food. They also provide special food on Fridays. The food quality is good according to the price not cheap quality.
