We went for a lunch out here on New Year's Eve . Speaking about the ambience it's similar to the other branches of "Chowman" , same mystic dark setting with the giant face of Buddha greeting you and Chinese/Tibetian instrumentals playing in background. Coming to food , Chowman was never a disappointment. We ordered Chilly Gravy Pork (absolutely generous amount, melt in the mouth, pork meat, with spicy gravy to complement it) and Shanghai Chicken Meifoon aka Rice Moodles. One of my go to orders . I am sucker for Meifoon at any outlet and Chowman (Kalyani)delivered. period. Super delicious, spicy, featherly light noodles . The meal was like a warm hug on the cold day of 31st December. Trying this branch in Kalyani was never in my bucket list because the outlet being 71 kms from my place. Then again Chowman has a special place in my heart so went in with my eyes closed and it met my expectations beautifully. Service of the waiters wrtr really upto the mark , they offered suggestions, took our requests mindfully. Our bill was 709/-. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹600–800
